  Is this possible...... Hundreds of Bethelites now engaged in major reform?

  unrelenting criticism and critical information is rapidly coming forward exposing this esoteric cult.. are their hundreds of bethelites now understanding how evil their "faithfull slave" really is?

  A couple of years ago an Elder at our Kingdom Hall gave a talk on who would survive the ''great tribulation.'' He said that only faithful brothers and sisters who preach the good news would survive. Anyone who is not preaching the good news or members who are inactive would not survive.

  My review of 2011 - the mad, the obscure, the outrageous, the terrible...

  2011 is a special landmark year in my life, because it is the year when i finally said "enough is enough" and awakened from my increasingly passive role within the jw faith.

  coincidentally, this was also the year in which the governing body "ramped up" its rhetoric to ever more dizzying heights of arrogance, hatred, and absurdity.

  whether 2011 subsequently goes down in the history of the watch tower society as being a true turning point in its downfall remains to be seen.

  Thank you! This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy JWN. This review is so important that everyone who reads or posts on JWN should ponder on this information and really see what the WTS is all about.(AND YOU THOUGHT CUBA AND NORTH KOREA WERE DICTATORSHIPS)

  You're right! They really threw some punches out of left field and low blows in 2011. They are against the ropes now and have no choice but to really hit hard. The internet is like a boxer that throws punches right to the gut and hits hard. They have never faced anything like it before. The problem is that this fight will not end when they want it to end and that their opponent will not relent. They will not stop the fight but will try to hit harder. Who wins the fight? That remains to be seen.

  Why do some people have their second marriage at a Banquet Hall?

  my cousin informed me that she and her fiance are getting married this coming march.

  they both are witnesses who are free to marry.

  (they both divorced their mates because of adultery) she and her teenage kids have been living with her mom the last 8 years because of financial hardship.

  My cousin informed me that she and her fiance are getting married this coming March. They both are Witnesses who are free to marry.(They both divorced their mates because of adultery) She and her teenage kids have been living with her mom the last 8 years because of financial hardship. Her fiance plans on moving in the same house with his new wife,step kids and mother- in- law. (He has no money either)

  They are getting married at a Kingdom Hall in the afternoon and have a wedding at a Banquet Hall with close to 140 people. The per person charge at this Banquet Hall starts at $70. That's close to $10,000.

  If neither of them have any money,why don't they get a marriage license at their local city hall and take their close family out to dinner? Why do people feel they need their second marriage at a Banquet Hall? Don't they realize how bad the economy is?

  My uncle who is an Elder has been warned not to ''talk or meet grandson''.

  my cousin( who was disfellowshipped many years ago) told me that he cannot speak to or come over to his grandfather's any longer.. he would stop by every month or so just to see his grandfather and grandmother.

  they are both in their 80's and not in the best of health.. my uncle who is still serving as an elder would talk to his grandson only when his grandson would visit his house.

  well,someone found out and snitched on my uncle.

  The false dates,the service time slips,the boring meetings,the cuts in printing,the ''generation change'', and how much money the WTS has DON'T BOTHER me. This bothers me! This can happen to me or you. You will have no contact with your family or friends. Only if you ''return to Jehovah'' will they take you back.

  He did repay both loans off. Every year he sends me Omaha steaks for Christmas. He sometimes treats for dinner,golf or any outing we go to.

  I think that he is very condescending with his wife and family. Most of them have had enough of him where I've let him slide over the years. Maybe now this was the last straw.

  I've lived close to him all my life and treated him better than a brother. For some reason,we always got along fine and call each other every two weeks.

  I forgot to mention that I've loaned him money over the years when he and his wife were going through financial troubles.

  Yeah....he is self centered and he thinks he is the only one with problems.

  I think I had enough of my cousin! I'm planning to cut him from my life. This is a cousin who has complained to me the last 10 years about his wife,kids,work and troubles with his brother and father. I've listened to his troubles and tried to help him in every way.

  Two weeks ago I called him and told him I had some health issues. I was in the hospital for a day and took all kinds of tests to see what was really wrong. They still don't know where all the pains are coming from. I've taken 2 C.T. scans,went to a surgeon and will take an M.R.I Saturday.

  Here is our conversation:

  Me: I went to the hospital today to see what is causing all my pains.

  Cousin: What did they find?

  Me: I might need surgery.

  Cousin: So,get it done.

  Me: I'm going to read up and also get a second opinion.

  Cousin: Stop reading so much. You're getting to sound like my dad who complains about everything. I hate people like you who question everything. Go get the surgery done and stop complaining.

  Two weeks have passed since we talked. I don't need surgery. I don't plan on speaking to him from now on since he was so condescending to me.
